Especially if you’re expecting your first child, you may be unsure if you’ve thought of everything. With this post, we’re happy to help you get or maintain an overview 🙂

You should pack your hospital bag a few weeks before the birth so that it is ready when labor actually starts.
What should be in the hospital bag?
But what do you really need in the hospital? Of course, some things depend on where and how you’ll give birth.
If you’re planning a special birth, such as a water birth, it’s best to ask the hospital of your choice beforehand what you need to consider. Other items are simply standard and should be in every hospital bag.
E.g. fresh laundry, nursing bras, your toiletry bag with care products and of course clothes for the newborn 🙂
The Parents’ Handbook “Checklist for Birth”
To help you pack, we’ve created a handy birth checklist . You can download and print it out and work through it step by step.
In addition to the most important things you should have with you as a mother during the birth, we have also noted what your companion should remember and, above all, what you need for your baby.
Of course, you can also add and tick off your own items for all points 🙂
All the best!
And now we wish you all the best for the exciting weeks ahead. A smooth birth and, of course, a wonderful time with your new family member!
If there is anything else you would like that isn’t on our list, please let us know and we’ll add it!
